Henryetta All-School Reunion
HENS, KNIGHTS AND MICKIES UNITE. OCT 21ST, 2016 IS OUR HENRYETTA ALL-SCHOOL REUNION.
The main goal of this reunion is to bring old friends from all schools back to town for a week-end. If you attended any school here or you just want to be here, you are welcome to attend.
The second goal is to raise money for the Alex Swyden Scholarship Fund. All surplus money will go into this fund each year. The Henryetta Education Foundation gives out about a dozen scholarships to HHS students. Two scholarships are awarded, of the 12, to a boy and a girl that have met the qualifications and their parents, grandparents, etc. have attended Henryetta High School.
The tentative schedule, subject to change:
Oct 21, 2016 Friday
7:00 Alums gather at the Henryetta Civic Center for pancakes cooked by the Lions Club.
Museum tours are available after 9:00
11:00 and 1:00 Bus tours of Historical Sights of Henryetta will be available . If you know of historical sites let me know about them, I hear on top of Bald Knob was one, county line road was a good one, however, we may not list those!!!!
6:30 Football Game against Okemah, at Cameron Field WoodmenLife will have their large American Flag on the field and will need help holding it during the Star Spangled Banner, so come join us.
Oct 22 - Saturday
8:00 Cinnamon rolls and coffee are served at the HHS Cafeteria
10:00 and 12:00 Bus tours of Historical sights of Henryetta will be available.
1:30 Lunch will be served in the cafeteria After the lunch, if classes wish to split off of the All-School Reunion, they will have the afternoon to do so. Others will be visiting in the cafeteria. Having a dozen different reunions at the same time, all over town, decreases our scholarship fund donations and caused alums to chase each other all over rather than just coming to one place to enjoy each other.
6:00 Cruise Knight will be going on downtown, bring you favorite car and come hangout there for the evening.
Oct 23 _ Sunday
9:00 Church service at the cafeteria with coffee and cinnamon rolls. Come join us as we go our separate ways after the service.
